Key Responsibilities
The selected candidate will be responsible for:
- Managing quality control from incoming materials through final project handover.
- Testing and approving construction materials such as:
- Cement
- Steel
- Aggregates
- Finishes
- Inspecting construction activities including:
- Reinforcement
- Concreting
- Waterproofing
- Finishing works
- Ensuring construction work meets required quality standards.
- Managing the site laboratory and maintaining complete quality records.
- Conducting pre-handover inspections and ensuring proper closure of snags.
- Training supervisors and contractors on quality requirements and proper construction practices.
- Developing and managing QA/QC systems and processes for the project.
Eligibility Criteria
Candidates should have:
- B.E./B.Tech or Diploma in Civil Engineering.
- 2–6 years of QA/QC or site experience in residential or building construction projects.
- Working knowledge of relevant IS codes.
- Practical knowledge of site testing procedures.
- Experience with:
- Cube Tests
- Slump Tests
- Sieve Analysis
- Construction Material Testing
- Site Quality Control
