Job Purpose

The Quality Control Engineer will be responsible for ensuring the quality of raw materials and concrete at plants.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct demonstrations for VAC products to clients and explain their functionality.
• Resolve customer concerns related to cracks, workability, slump control, pumping issues and cube failures.
• Take corrective and preventive actions based on site feedback.
• Maintain quality control laboratories with proper product displays and relevant BIS codes.
• Maintain quality records on LabSys and update them as per QCI and ISO requirements.
• Maintain calibration records for testing equipment.
• Check raw material quality against required standards and specifications.
• Reject materials that do not meet specified requirements.
• Coordinate with third-party testing agencies for concrete cubes when required.
• Conduct concrete cube testing to verify compliance with quality standards.
• Conduct trials for dosage and performance of admixtures, special materials and routine products.
• Ensure concrete workability and cohesiveness at the plant and pouring site.
• Implement moisture corrections during production.
• Monitor the correct admixture dosage at batching plants.

2. Mechanical Engineer – Packing Plant Maintenance
